As Season 7 continues, The Crew Motorfest has added a new luxury car-themed playlist available from today (6th August). It follows last month’s Ferrari-centric playlist.
Titled Luxury Chronicles Europe, the playlist sees you drive a selection of luxury European cars in 13 themed chapters, with, in a first for The Crew Motorfest, one event released every week. The first event puts you behind the wheel of the French Genty Akylone sports car, which is also this month’s new Year 2 Pass car.
The Year 2 Pass premium DLC includes 20 cars, with one new drop per month until October. Year 2 Pass holders can gain early access to these vehicles one week before they arrive for all players.
While Year 2 Pass holders will gain instant access to the Rocket 3 R on this date, the trailer suggests it will feature in a future Luxury Chronicles Europe playlist event.
Motorcycle manufacturer Triumph will also make its Crew Motorfest debut in Season 7, with the Rocket 3 R being the final Year 2 Pass vehicle drop on 1st October. Â

Notably, the Rocket 3 R boasts the world’s biggest production motorcycle engine, rated at 2,500cc. It also delivers more torque than any production motorcycle, with 221 Nm at 4,000 rpm, enabling it to rocket from 0-60 mph in 2.73 seconds.
There are no vehicle restrictions in each playlist event. However, the trailer suggests the playlist will spotlight luxury models like the Bugatti Centodieci, Mercedes-AMG One and Audi R8 LMS GT2 (available in the Year 2 Pass from 3rd September).
Live-action clips based in the Triumph factory in Hinckley and the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, narrated by Triumph Chief Engineer Stuart Wood, and Porsche’s Head of Corporate Archives and Collections, Frank Jung, respectively, are also shown in the trailer.
Presumably, these locations will be backdrops for playlist event introductions, like the Ferrari Museum in last month’s playlist.  It also implies that we could see a virtual Porsche-themed exhibition inspired by the museum come to the game at some point.
