Roblox players can now race in NASCAR Tycoon

The premier American stock car championship is returning to the incredibly popular Roblox game with a new management and driving sub-game.

Within the universe, which allows players to create their own games, will be NASCAR Tycoon.

Here, budding racing fans will be able to build their own team headquarters and form a team before racing.

Those who do can earn ‘NASCASH’ (yes, really), a variation on the Robux virtual currency seen in the platform. Limited-time UGC (user-generated content, in this instance, a NASCAR-branded car paint scheme, and one with animated dollar signs earned through a rebirth) is also available.

The initiative is part of NASCAR’s push to find a more diverse and youthful audience. It follows a NASCAR Speed Hub experience for Roblox early in 2023, a dedicated PC and console NASCAR Arcade Rush game released last September plus its Chicago Street Race within Fortnite’s Rocket Racing earlier this month. 

The latest Roblox addition launched on 17th July 2024 and already has nearly five million visits.
