NASCAR on Roblox? NASCAR Speed Hub experience now live

NASCAR announced on Friday that they’ve once again partnered with the folks behind the popular game known as Roblox for a NASCAR themed experience revolving around NASCAR’s 75th Anniversary.

The NASCAR Speed Hub is the latest add-on for the free-to-play multi-genre title. “NASCAR Speed Hub is an immersive experience that lets players design cars, unlock exclusive virtual items, play mini games, and connect to other popular experiences on the platform,” reads the official press release.

Back in 2021, NASCAR and Roblox teamed up to bring the NASCAR NEXT Gen car to the Jailbreak experience. Now in 2023, there’s a whole experience dedicated to letting fans experience the past, present and future of NASCAR, as well as eventually letting creators collaborate in the space.

Not normally known for its ties to motorsports and racing games, Roblox is one of those sandbox type games where anyone can create basically anything to play around with. From role playing to first person shooters, and in this case, a racing game genre, the title from the mid-2000s is one of the most popular titles out there.

“At NASCAR we want to encourage the emerging generation of digital natives to manifest their passion for NASCAR racing their own way. NASCAR Speed Hub on Roblox is an exciting new space that lets players create and evolve their NASCAR story on their terms.”
