As we go through this article, we’ll categorise each item, list the original price and the Prime Day saving and then link directly to the deal for both UK and USA customers.
This year, there are significant savings on the Thrustmaster sim racing ecosystem, great deals on gaming headsets and controllers plus the odd racing or driving game thrown in for good measure. Here are the best deals we can find, and we’ll be updating the article across the 11th-12th July, remembering these prices are only open to Prime members.

Sim racing equipment
Nearly every current Thrustmaster steering wheel and peripheral is on sale through Amazon over the next two days – apart from the direct drive PC-only T818 which is not available via retailers such as Amazon yet – and if you’re looking for a beginner sim racing set-up, these could be the offers you’ve been waiting for.
Thrustmaster T128 wheel and pedals for PlayStation and PC
The new entry-level sim racing steering wheel by Thrustmaster, the T128, uses a combination of gear and belt driven force feedback.
No, this is not direct drive, and, no, it’s not what the ultimate pros use, but yes, we think it’s the best budget wheel on the market, especially as it uses the identical internals to the more expensive T248 (below) but cheapens the pedals (two as opposed to three) and some of the plastic material quality. The driving experience, though, is broadly the same, for less and the pedals can be upgraded at a later date.
“This bundle does racing games and sim racing justice, and it is good enough to get anyone hooked, which is key,” said John in our full review. This version works with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
UK: PlayStation (PS4/PS5/PC) RRP £149 Prime Day Deal, -17%, £123.48
US: PlayStation (PS4/PS5/PC) RRP £$180.28 Prime Day Deal, -10% $199.99
Thrustmaster T248 wheel and pedals for PlayStation, Xbox and PC
Both varieties of the T248 wheel and pedal set are available as Prime Day Deals. So, there’s either a PlayStation and PC version or an Xbox or PC version.
Sitting roughly in the middle of Thrustmaster’s sim racing range, the T248 uses the same belt and gear force feedback system seen in the cheaper T128 (above), but uses higher-grade finishing materials, features a built-in LCD display that reads various telemetry parameters and a set of more detailed, and adjustable, pedals.
“It’s a robust wheel with great force feedback, fantastic on-the-fly control over a bunch of settings, and the button placement is bang-on,” we said in our full review.
UK: PlayStation (PS4/PS5/PC) – RRP £299.99 Prime Day Deal, -34%, £197.99
UK: Xbox (Xbox One/Series/PC) – RRP £299.99 Prime Day Deal, -33%, £199.99
US: PlayStation (PS4/PS5/PC) – RRP $399.99 Prime Day Deal, -28%, $287.99
US: Xbox (Xbox One/Series/PC) – RRP $399.99 Prime Day Deal, -11%, $357.77
Thrustmaster T300 RS GT Force wheel and pedals
A belt-driven sim racing set-up, what makes the T300 worth the additional purchase price over the T128 and T248 is the ability to remove the steering wheel. That opens you up to the Thrustmaster wheel ecosystem, should you opt to upgrade further down the line.
The company has also committed to an upcoming line of wheels and will provide an adapter to still support the T300, so you’ll be set for the future too. This particular set features Gran Turismo branding.
We don’t think its ‘brushless motor’ won’t provide the same fidelity as some direct drive wheel bases, but for a wheel with a quick release system that works across PlayStation and PC, this is affordable.
PlayStation (4/5) and PC – RRP £379.99 Prime Day Deal, -25%, £283.99
Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition
This replica of a real-world 2021 Ferrari Formula 1 steering wheel is, in our opinion, the best steering wheel in Thrustmaster’s range. In fact, it’s the best wheel it’s ever made.
Not only is it like a real-world wheel, but also its colour screen does have native functionality with a range of games, like Assetto Corsa Competizione. It can be fitted to the T300, mentioned above and also part of Prime Day, too, or even the new direct drive T818.
“It makes you feel as if you’re behind the wheel of a real Ferrari F1 car. It looks so convincing when it’s off the rig, you would be forgiven for thinking I nipped to the Silverstone pits and pinched this off Charles,” we said in our full review.
SF1000 – RRP £349.99 Prime Day Deal, -17%, £289.99
Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals
There are even more Thrustmaster deals available on Prime Day, although this is the final one we’re listing in this particular ‘best of’ article. The T-LCMs are a set of load cell-operated sim racing pedals.
This is key, as the force you input, as opposed to the movement, is measured. This is seen as a far more realistic set-up, closer to real-world racing vehicles. This set can be used in combination with any current Thrustmaster wheel base, including the three mentioned above, and are an essential upgrade.
UK: T-LCM – RRP £209.99 Prime Day Deal, -26%, £154.99
Logitech G29 and G920 sim racing wheel and pedals
Still setting the benchmark for entry-level wheel and pedal combinations, the Logitech has refined the gear-driven force feedback system on the G29/G920 over the last two decades.
With plenty of buttons and a brake pedal with a clever resistive brake spring to simulate a load cell, the G29 is a great buy for those starting their sim racing career. Remember, the G29 is compatible with PlayStation, Mac and PC, while the G920 works with Xbox, PC and Mac.
UK: G29, PS4, PS5, Mac, PC RRP £349.99 Prime Day Deal -51% £169.89
UK: G920, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac RRP £349.99 Prime Day Deal -51% £169.89
US: G920, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac RRP $299.99 Prime Day Deal -33% $199.99
US: G29, PS4, PS5, Mac, PC RRP £399.99 Prime Day Deal -50% £199.99
Logitech G Driving Force shifter
Should you own a Logitech steering wheel/wheel base already, or you’ve just purchased one during Prime Day, then an optional extra is the Logitech G Driving Force gear lever.
This adds a H-pattern gear shifter, with seven ‘slots’ for gears to be used within. Driving a classic racing car or a road-going hot-hatchback? This can add to the realism, as you slot each cog into place.
UK: Logitech Shifter, RRP £54.99 Prime Day Deal -47% £28.99
Games
Bargain racing game deals are a little thin on the ground in this year’s Prime Day but we’ve collated some of the best we’ve seen so far below.
RiMS Racing, PlayStation 4
The forerunner to the excellent TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3, RiMS Racing is a proper motorcycle sim with well-realised handling and supreme attention to detail.
Despite a few rough edges, it’s more than worth trying if you’re a two-wheeled motorsport fan. As an added bonus, the Xbox One version comes with a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S editions, saving you £5. Nice.
PS4 RRP £19.99 Prime Day Deal, -25% £14.99
Xbox One RRP £19.99 Prime Day Deal, -25% £14.99
WRC Generations, PS5 and Switch
KT Racing’s final entry in its stewardship of the WRC licence, WRC Generations showcases the inaugural season of the hybrid-powered Rally1 class.
With stars like Sébastien Loeb, Ott Tänak and Sébastien Ogier going up against young gun Kalle Rovanperä in 2022, there was plenty of intrigue in the championship – and the game was pretty good too. We called it a ‘fitting finale’ in our full review, despite some obvious quirks.
Switch – RRP £29.99 Prime Day Deal -23%, £23.00
PS5 – RRP £39.99 Prime Day Deal -33%, £26.66
LEGO 2K Drive, PlayStation and Xbox
A giant, detailed, open-world, stunning visuals and fun story – LEGO 2K Drive took us by surprise earlier this year and something for children to race around in, but adults too thanks to the local and online co-op which works throughout the game.
Bombastic, over-the-top and set for a long string of DLC and updates over the coming months, now’s a great time to pick up LEGO 2K Drive at a reduced price.
“Don’t take things seriously, switch off, unwind and explore a world made from LEGO – the stuff of dreams,” we said in our full review.
UK: LEGO 2K Drive Standard Edition PS4 – RRP £45.00 Prime Day Deal, -20%, £35.99
UK: LEGO 2K Drive Standard Edition PS5 – RRP £59.00 Prime Day Deal, -27%, £42.99
UK: LEGO 2K Drive Standard Edition Xbox – RRP £59.99 Prime Day Deal, -37%, £37.99
US: LEGO 2K Drive + Aquadirt Set PS4 – RRP $59.99 Prime Day Deal, -20%, $49.99
US: LEGO 2K Drive + Aquadirt Set PS5 – RRP £69.99 Prime Day Deal, -27%, $54.99
US: LEGO 2K Drive + Aquadirt Set Xbox – RRP $59.99 Prime Day Deal, -37%, $49.99
US: LEGO 2K Drive + Aquadirt Set Switch – RRP $59.99 Prime Day Deal, -37%, $49.99
MX vs ATV Legends
This off-road, open-world, motorcycle, quad and SSV racing game is… well, a little rough around the edges. The physics have been dramatically updated post-release, however, and there’s a lengthy career with a varied environment. There’s also AMA-licenced DLC available.
While we questioned its appeal at the full launch price, with a heavy reduction in cost, MX vs ATV Legends could be worth it for those looking for a different bike-racing experience.
UK: MX vs ATV Legends PS4 – RRP £17.99 Prime Day Deal, -37%, £14.24
US: MX vs ATV Legends Xbox – RRP $29.99 Prime Day Deal, -20%, $19.93
Gaming peripherals
When you think sim racing you think of steering wheels, pedals, wheelbases and handbrakes. However, other items such as gaming headsets and mice are just as important to your sim set-up. We’ve outlined a few bargains below.
Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Wired Gaming Mouse
This stealth fighter-like gaming mouse features 11 programmable buttons with a 25,600 DPI sensor and the obligatory RGB lighting. Ok, racing game fans don’t particularly need a fancy mouse, but it’ll look great on your rig.
With adjustable internal weights, this mouse will make negotiating rFactor 2’s maze of menus an absolute joy*.

Roccat Kone XP gaming mouse
We understand that a mouse in a gaming context is mainly for RPGs or first-per shooters, but you also need one for messing about in Assetto Corsa’s set-up menus. Gotta get those bump stops tuned to perfection, right?
So why not have one with 3D RGB lighting, 22 LEDs no less, for that full esports-team look?
Kone XP Mouse – RRP £69.99 Prime Day Deal, -43%, £39.99

PlayStation and Xbox controllers have this fitment built in, so does the Switch console and most PCs.
When you need to let someone know you’ve just sent it, job is a good one.
Recon 70N headset – RRP £29.99 Prime Day Deal, -29%, £21.19
PlayStation 5 PULSE 3D headset
The official gamine headset for PS5 users – others are available – is a premium device, rarely discounted. Of course, it can be used like any wireless headset across multiple devices, but on PS5 you get 3D audio, for games that support it.

As it’s wireless, it features batteries, that should last up to 300 hours. It also features DTS Spatial Audio and a detachable mic should you want to use them simply to listen to content and not bark last-minute pitlane instructions…
HyperX Cloud Alpha headset – RRP $199.99 Prime Day Deal, -25%, $149.99

2TB WD SSD for PS5
This NVMe high-speed, compact, solid-state drive by Western Digital may seem like a regular PC part, but wait. You can upgrade your PlayStation 5’s SSD, which has 825GB out of the box. Adding an extra 2TB is a boon, and it fits internally so once added it’s not an unsightly appendage.
WD-Black SN850 2TB for PS5 – RRP £289.99 Prime Day Deal, -52%, £139.99
Xbox Series S (Certified Refurbished/Renewed)
It doesn’t quite reach the lofty performance heights of a Series X but an Xbox Series S at this price is an excellent gateway to the world of Forza Horizon 5 and the upcoming Forza Motorsport reboot.
You can also take advantage of Microsoft’s back catalogue of older games while enjoying modern classics via Xbox Game Pass. Ideal!
UK: Xbox Series S RRP: £229.99 Prime Day Deal -35% £149.99
US: Xbox Series S RRP: $269.99 Prime Day Deal -35% $199.99
