The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is the next circuit that’s due to be coming to Rennsport. It was revealed by the official ESL R1 Twitter account on 2nd June.
Monza is set to be a part of the ESL R1 Major schedule this weekend, which is taking place live, in-person at the Rennsport Summit in Munich, Germany. This weekend, the inaugural ESL R1 champion is set to be crowned, and they’ll need to master the Temple of Speed in order to do so.
The Grand Prix layout of Monza Circuit is 5.793-kilometers (3.600-miles) in length with 11 corners. This particular track is a popular one in real-world and simulated racing. It hosts Formula 1, FIA World Endurance Championship, GT World Challenge and tons of other motorsport series.
Monza is also available in popular racing titles such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Gran Turismo 7, RaceRoom Racing Experience… pretty much every major player out there has Monza in some capacity.
Monza joins the Hockenheimring, Spa-Francorchamps, the Nürburgring and the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb as tracks that have been added to the track roster for Rennsport.
We expect to find out more about the upcoming beta, as well as other updates to the Rennsport platform, over the coming days.
