Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports unveil new signings in F1 Esports Series Pro push

The F1 Esports Series Pro silly season starts in earnest with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN Esports announcing three new signings for its three-car assault on the championship.

The Hinwil-based team has secured the services of two of F1 Esports’ most exciting prospects in 16-year-old Tomek Poradzisz and 20-year-old Nico Longuet. Former driver Dani Bereznay also joins the squad, having previously driven for Alfa Romeo in the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Poradzisz, the PC 2022 F1 Esports Challengers Champion, has already been crowned the F1 Esports Series champion in his native Poland three times, and will step up to the pinnacle of F1 Esports for the very first time this season.

Longuet drove in the 2021 F1 Esports Pro Series, netting three pole positions and two podiums for Alpine Esports, going on to secure seventh in the championship.

22-yeard old Hungarian Bereznay rejoins Alfa Romeo following a season spent with Mercedes-Benz AMG Petronas Esports. In his two previous years with the team, Bereznay secured third and fifth-place championship positions. Already a race winner in PSGL in 2022, he will be aiming for more of the same in F1 Esports.

It will be interesting to see if Alfa Romeo’s line-up can fulfil its great potential this season as it faces up to the might of the top three drivers of 2021: defending champion Jarno Opmeer, 2021 Autosport Esports Driver of the Year Frederik Rasmussen and Race of Champions star Lucas Blakeley.
