Kunos Simulazioni has today (14th November 2022) announced that it is bringing paint schemes from the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa race to Assetto Corsa Competizione this week. The liveries will arrive as part of the sim’s next update on the 16th of November.

This year’s race – the 74th running of the famous sportscar/touring car event – was won by the AMG Team AKKodis ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Jules Gounon, Daniel Juncadella and Raffaele Marciello.

Over the weekend of the 28th–31st of July, 66 GT3 cars started the showcase event of SRO-organised GT3 endurance racing, with points available at six, 12 and 24-hour intervals.

Team AKKodis received points for third, third and first places respectively during the race, helping them secure the overall GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup title.

The race weekend also saw esports star James Baldwin double up his driving duties by taking a win in the on-site Fanatec Esports GT Pro Series, while also competing in the real-world race in a Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 in the Silver Cup class.

Whether all 66 24 Hours of Spa liveries are coming to Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) or not is unclear. However, with the release of the Challengers Pack DLC for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S last week, including the new-for-2022 Audi R8 LMS Evo II GT3, it’s hoped the liveries will be available concurrently on console and PC*.

Are you looking forward to a range of new liveries being added to ACC? What else would you like to see added to the official game of the GT World Challenge? Let us know in the comments below.

*Update: Traxion.GG was later informed by a representative from 505 Games (publisher of ACC) that the 24 Hours of Spa livery update is coming to PC only on the 16th of November. Console owners will receive the new liveries at a later, undisclosed, date.
