Your guide to Forza Horizon 5's Series 5 Summer Festival Playlist

Goodbye Horizon World Cup, hello Horizon Rush Takeover! This brand-new Forza Horizon 5 series brings more of a focus towards the PR stunts, meaning fewer events such as Playground Games and Seasonal Championships, and more Danger Signs and Drift Zones.

These challenges will take a shorter time to complete but may require more cars in your arsenal for these extra stunts. Treasure Hunts are featured in this series, with the first one taking place next week.

Series 5 Summer Season Rewards

The cars available to unlock within the Summer Season are the KTM X-Bow GT4 2018 for 20 points, and the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster 2009 for 40 points. This is the first time this KTM has appeared in Horizon 5 after featuring in Horizon 4.

Forza Horizon 5 Series 5 Summer Season Rewards

As for the cars available throughout the series, you can unlock the Mini FE 1965 for 80 points, a car new to the Forza Horizon series, and the Porsche #3 917 LH 1970 for 160 points, so get grinding!

A new car has also been added to the Car Pass, the Ford Mustang SVO. We have a separate guide just for Car Pass featuring the announced upcoming additions.

Seasonal Special challenge

Another brand-new challenge introduced to this season is a “Seasonal Special” challenge, with the first one named “Horizon Parade” that involves taking part in a race using a parade float. It sounds absolutely crazy, and it really is.

You’re able to take this bizarre creation through a cross-country race alongside other souped-up parade floats, and it is definitely one to try out.

The challenge requirements are simple. Jump into a track toy car of your choice, and head to the Horizon Rush outpost, located at the north-eastern area of the map.

If you are yet to unlock this region, it is located on top of a huge hill area to the North of Guanajuato.
