It’s finally here! 2023 iRacing Season 3 has finally launched today and all of the new content and features are making their way into official racing effective immediately. While there’s still plenty of existing content to get into, if you’re looking for the new and shiny stuff, here’s where you can race it on the 2023 Season 3 schedule.
New Cars, New and Updated Series
2023 iRacing Season 3 contains three brand new cars to the service, all of which join the license with the most amount of content, Road. There’s quite a bit of cross over, but the new content will have plenty of opportunities for you to jump into over the next 12 weeks.
Caddy corner
The headlining piece of content has to be the Cadillac V-Series.R GTP. This new car joins the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the GTP class and will partake in four multi-class racing series during Season 3, two of which will occur on a weekly basis. Official and Hosted races now hold up to nine different cars, which is part of how this can happen.
There’s one Americanized series representing IMSA, which will have 45 minute races. The other is a European series with 60 minute events. There are some crossovers, however. For example, IMSA visits Spa, Jerez and Motegi while the Euro Series will hit up Watkins Glen, Daytona, Road Atlanta, Indy and Road America.
The IMSA iRacing Series merely needs a Class B license or above to participate while the European Sprint Pure Driving School Series will be for those at a Class A license. Both series will race against the Dallara P217 LMP2 class. IMSA has the GT3 class included while Euro races against GTEs.

Dentist license not required in these LMP3 series
The Ligier JS P320 LMP3 has two series that it will join in 2023 Season 3. One is the standalone series, a new one for the new car called the LMP3 Turn Racing Trophy.
