Back in the early 2000s, you couldn’t go five minutes without coming across yet ANOTHER Mario Kart rip-off. It was an easy way to print money for game publishers, with many simply trying to capitalise on our favourite Italian plumber’s popularity.
However, not everyone took the half-baked approach. The likes of Crash Team Racing brought the fight to the kart racing crown, with many to this day still thinking it deserves the top spot. In the case of Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour, it didn’t overthrow Mario Kart, but it definitely gave us a great kart racing experience.
