iRacing is one of the world’s leading simulation platforms and competition systems, but it’s lacking one key feature that can take away from realism: Rain.
However, changeable weather conditions are in development and have been for some time. A teaser as recent as February 2022 saw some Formula Vee vehicles racing in wet conditions around Imola. Some cars on the simulator platform have recently had windscreen wiper operation added too. Let’s hope it arrives sometime within 2022.
So here’s what we think the weather system in iRacing needs to match up with, based upon what direct competitors currently offer.
We can’t wait for precipitation on iRacing. If you’re also excited, let us know in the comments below and tell us what rain features you think iRacing could implement.
