WATCH: The Finale | Race Driver: GRID Episode 26

Welp, we knew this day would come. The final episode of John Munro’s Let’s Play Race Driver: GRID Series has arrived, and it includes another crack at the GT1 championship as well as a final battle with Nathan McKane and Ravenwest.

The GT1 Championship has eluded John in every prior attempt. David Dempsey brought home a Rick Racing title in GT1 earlier on, but he was too good, and the team had to let him go. In his place, John’s new wingman is Eddie Ross, a Scotsman with a positive attitude. Honestly, Eddie’s positivity is infectious, and on the track, it’s like he knows how much John needs this trophy.

Back in the Lamborghini Murcielago RGT, Rick Racing has a pair of studs on the grid. The schedule is different yet again, with Istanbul kicking things off, followed by Jarama, Shibuya, the Nurburgring and Long Beach. Eddie has speed, but not David Dempsey speed, which is just what John needs to claim the top prize.

The technology gods ended up giving John his greatest challenge earlier in the week – a dead computer with all of the save file data on it – so the GT1 Championship in comparison should be a cake walk. After that’s done and settled, the final challenge is with Ravenwest. Nathan McKane versus John Traxion. One on one at Circuit de la Sarthe. Three laps, winner take all. Can John get it done and end the series on top?
