Ubisoft’s game subscription service, Ubisoft+, is coming to PlayStation consoles in the near future. On top of that, a Ubisoft+ Classics subscription addition will also be included in select PlayStation Plus tiers when those go live in May or June, depending on where you reside.
The standalone service currently exists for PC gamers, Google Stadia owners and Amazon Luna subscribers. It was also announced for Xbox gamers back in January. This subscription gives users access to all of the new and classic Ubisoft titles and starts at £12.99/$14.99 per month.
The Ubisoft+ Classics service, it will be included with the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Unfortunately, the Essential base tier will not have this inclusion. It will give PS plus users access to a curated selection of games, not the full library. It is expected to include 27 games at launch and 50 games total.
Some of the Ubisoft racing game titles included in this service include The Crew, The Crew 2, Trackmania Turbo, Trials Rising and Trials Fusion. All of these titles and more will be available on Day 1 when the new PlayStation Plus tiers go live, those dates being 13th June in North America and 23rd June in Europe.
Specifically speaking on The Crew 2, that was also announced today that it would be a part of the top two tiers of the new PlayStation Plus program. Also, the latest episode for The Crew 2’s fifth season, American Legends episode 2, is also out now.
When it goes live, PlayStation Plus Extra will cost £10.99/$14.99 per month and the Premium will cost £13.49/$17.99 per month. What do you think about these new subscriptions coming to the PlayStation network? Let us know in the comments below!
