- Tokyo Xtreme Racer’s PS5 release will include three new cars: the Honda Fit, Mazda CX-3 and Toyota Dyna
- Will also feature a replay mode and music selector
- All new features will be added to the PC version in future updates
With Tokyo Xtreme Racer’s PlayStation 5 release just one week away, Genki has announced several new features will coincide with the console launch.
Teased earlier this week, the PS5 version will launch with three additional cars: the first-generation Honda Fit (known in some markets as the Jazz), Mazda CX-3 and a Toyota Dyna truck. “Select traffic vehicles” will also be playable in the new version.
Additionally, the PS5 version will launch with a replay mode, music selector and optimisations, including PS5 Pro enhancements and DualSense controller support, alongside Spanish and French localisation options. These new features will also be added to the PC version in future updates, with dates yet to be announced.
More cars planned beyond PS5 release
Furthermore, Genki confirmed that Tokyo Xtreme Racer’s car roster will continue to expand beyond the PS5 release. “While the scale of vehicle additions is limited, we will continue development efforts with future expansions in mind,” the developer wrote on social media.
