Montreal will host the first in-person round of the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series competition, and the general public can watch by purchasing a ticket.
Taking place on one day – eschewing the traditional multi-day format, which could mean a busy day for drivers in both competitions – both Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup rounds will be conducted.
Speaking from experience, the Gran Turismo World Series events are a spectacle, with slick production and a willing crowd.
A general admission ticket is priced at $15 (CAD), providing access to either the Nations or Manufacturers event. A $40 (CAD) gold ticket delivers entry to both and bundles in an event-specific T-shirt.
The Usine-C contemporary dance, theatre and music venue will hold the first of four in-person Gran Turismo events, with doors opening at 16:00 local time on Saturday 6th July.
The 12 drivers competing in the Nations Cup and 12 car manufacturers were decided recently following six online rounds within Gran Turismo 7. Following Montreal, the drivers head to Prague in August, Tokyo in September and the World Finals later in the year.
Last season, Spain won the Nations Cup, while Nissan wrapped up the Manufacturers, but failed to qualify this year.
