Thrustmaster’s T-GT Gran Turismo wheel rim to be sold separately in 2026

Thrustmaster’s T-GT wheel will go on sale as a standalone rim add-on in early 2026, priced at €249,99.

Thrustmaster’s T-GT Gran Turismo wheel can now be purchased separately

The T-GT is Thrustmaster’s official Gran Turismo wheel, originally released alongside Gran Turismo Sport and succeeded by the T-GT 2. While it’s belt-driven rather than direct drive, the wheelbase features a unique transducer that simulates the road surface texture when playing Gran Turismo games.

It’s also bundled with a unique Gran Turismo-branded wheel rim, which has never been sold separately – until now.

At the SimRacing Expo 2025, Thrustmaster announced that the T-GT Gran Turismo wheel will relaunch as a standalone rim add-on in early 2026, with a quick-release system making it compatible with the newer T598 and T818 wheelbases.

Thrustmaster T-GT wheel add-on

Measuring 28cm in diameter, the T-GT Gran Turismo wheel rim is coated in real leather and features four aluminium rotary dials, allowing you to configure settings like the traction control on the fly.

A prominent Gran Turismo logo adorns the centre, flanked with official PlayStation controller buttons making it easy to navigate menus.

There’s no release date yet, but the Thrustmaster T-GT standalone wheel will go on sale in early 2026 with an SRP of €249.99, with UK and US pricing to be confirmed.

As well as the T-GT, Thrustmaster is unveiling several new products at the SimExpo 2025, including a long-requested load-cell upgrade for Raceline Pedals, an updated T818 Black Edition and a Ferrari SF-25 Edition of the Formula Wheel add-on.
