Snowrunner Season 17 adds new muddy environment and two trucks

Snowrunner’s Season 17 lands today alongside Update 40, with players treated to a brand-new environment.

The theme for the new content is ‘Repair and Rescue’, and plops players into Zurdania, a Central Asian-themed environment featuring mud. Lots of mud. 

Split between Zurdan Valley and Landslide Valley, the two maps provide contrasting challenges, with the former introducing a small town, a metal factory and an oil refinery.

The latter sees players tasked with restoring ruined chapels and a monastery, working with the nearby logging station and sawmill to help improve the region.

The first DLC of Snowrunner’s Year 5 Pass also brings two new trucks to the game: the Voron G-5352, which specialises in cargo transport, and the Jangsu RX600, which provides superb off-road support. The full list of Season 17 contents can be found at the bottom of this article.

Snowrunner Update 40 contents

Alongside the release of Season 17, a number of improvements have been implemented across all versions of Snowrunner.

A whole host of incremental vehicle fixes have been actioned, alongside a series of bug fixes and optimisations. The full changelog can be found below,

TUZ TRUCKS IMPROVEMENTS

• Rebalanced the Tuz 108 “Warthog” by adjusting its collision geometry, truck mass, and center of gravity
• Fixed the issue where the ‘Maintainer Frame Addon’ was clipping into the roof of the Tuz 108 “Warthog” truck
• Fixed the issue where the ‘Boubleheads’ upgrades were overlapped by the ‘Customize’ menu on the TUZ 108 “Warthog” truck
• Fixed the issue where changing gearbox, tires, or winch on the TUZ 420 ‘Tatarin’ didn’t update the truck’s price

• Adjusted the Minicrane and ‘Medium Logging Frame’ addon auto-offsets on the Azov 5319 truck to improve their positioning relative to the cab and other addons
• Fixed the incompatible addon combination of ‘Multi-purpose Cargo Module’ with ‘Log Carrier Front’ on the ZiKZ 612H truck
