Pre-orders begin in November for the ultra-premium, but not range-topping, Gomez Sim Industries steering wheel.

Trust Gomez Sim Industries to create a draw-dropping sim racing steering wheel. With the Hyper P1 last year, they set the template for the ultimate device, and now with the Hyper SL, it is taking that design to a wider market.

The latest addition to GSI’s range takes the proven, £1,377/$1,650 formula, and removes the 4.3″ LCD touchscreen.

While pricing for the Hyper SL has not been announced, it’s expected it will positioned somewhat lower than the top-of-the-line wheel.

It still looks to feature a 5mm carbon fibre faceplate, 12 satisfyingly solid RGB LED push buttons, five backlit five-way RGB LED push-button rotary encoders, three seven-way multi-switches and the ‘CEMS N52’ paddle gear shifters.

GSI is resolutely a PC-only high-end manufacturer, with its range designed to work with the likes of Simucube, Simmagic and VRS wheel base, plus others. A Fanatec Podium Hub is required to work with the German manufacturer’s equipment, for example.

Delivery dates are also not yet confirmed, but pre-orders start directly on GSI’s website on 10th November 2023 with a 10 per cent discount for day-one purchasers.
