For the Mac gamers in the audience, here’s a good one for you! SnowRunner from Saber Interactive is coming to Apple’s Mac devices at some point in 2023. The terrain simulator will soon be available to play on the Mac App Store, Steam for Mac, and the Epic Games Store for Mac.
The ported game will include full crossplay capabilities with other consoles and PC players, plus it will include controller support.
SnowRunner currently exists as a playable title on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and on PC via Steam.
Now, as I write this article out on a MacBook, no disrespect is meant to those who game on Apple devices, it’s just… odd to see some titles get this type of support. I mean, I used to play World of Warcraft on this MacBook, so I guess it’s not too much of a stretch.
The trailer above shows off some of the graphics you’ll be looking forward to. It’s not exactly as good as it could be like on PlayStation 5 or a suped-up PC, but it’s respectable at least, and is better than the Nintendo Switch graphics by miles.
SnowRunner will be available on the “Silicon Mac lineup”, per Saber, for $29.99… at some point this year. SnowRunner’s Premium Edition, added SnowRunner DLC and the SnowRunner Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 Passes will also be available for purchasing separately.
