Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator developer SCS Software has announced a charity DLC pack for both sims, with all the proceeds going towards breast cancer charities.

Named the ‘Pink Ribbon Charity Pack’, the DLC aims to celebrate ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month’ by raising awareness of the disease while promoting self-checking, with 100 per cent of its revenue split between two charities.

American Truck Simulator’s share of the fundraising will be sent to Breast Cancer Research Foundation USA, a non-profit organisation that provides critical funding for worldwide cancer research.

For Euro Truck Simulator 2, ‘The Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer’ (Aliance žen s rakovinou prsu) will be the recipient of the Pink Ribbon Charity Pack’s takings. The non-profit organisation was founded in SCS’ home nation of the Czech Republic and provides an education centre open to those affected by breast cancer as well as the general public.

Players who purchase either DLC pack will receive several pink ribbon-themed truck liveries, with SCS Software hoping to expand the number of charities it donates to depending on sales.
