Indie top-down racing title Retro Pixel Racers releases to home consoles for the first time today, (10th March 2022) as JanduSoft brings its PC arcade racer to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Already available via Steam, after being self-developed/published by Josep Monzonis Hernandez, the retro-inspired game features fast-paced action with colourful graphics harking back to the 16-bit eras of the Sega Mega Drive and Super Nintendo Entertainment System home consoles.

Inspired visually by Codemasters classic Micro Machines and Sega’s arcade racer Hot Rod, the racing is fast and frantic, with a choice of 26 tracks and 20 different cars.

Featuring easy to pick up/difficult to master handling, the game follows a long line of indie retro-inspired racers in recent times, including the likes of Formula Retro Racing, Horizon Chase Turbo and Art of Rally.
