A new trailer for the upcoming Dakar Desert Rally showcases two of the retro rally racing vehicles that the Deluxe Edition owners of the title will be able to unlock on day one.
Both the DAF Truck Turbo-Twin and Ari Vatanen’s Peugeot 405 Turbo 16 are part of the Deluxe Edition bonuses. The two vintage Dakar Rally machines will be included alongside five upcoming DLC packs, which will contain a new map, new vehicles, and two new rally events in the future.
Vatanen and navigator Bruno Berglund won the challenging Paris-Dakar event using the 405 in both 1989 and 1990.
The Deluxe Edition runs at $59.99/£49.99/€59.99 whereas the Standard, which won’t include all of those features, will cost $39.99/£34.99/€39.99. Both editions will get the Audi RS Q e-tron, though, as long as you pre-order the title.
Dakar Desert Rally by Saber Interactive releases in just two weeks, on 4th October 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
