F1 25 has officially broken cover, with this year’s entry introducing a new Braking Point story mode, alongside a revamped My Team mode and reverse tracks. For PC players, the game’s Steam page has confirmed F1 25’s system requirements.
Compared to F1 24, F1 25 has slightly higher processor requirements. This year’s F1 game requires an Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor instead of an Intel Core i3-2130 or AMD FX 4300. Other than that, F1 25’s system requirements are identical to last year’s game. Generally, then, if your PC can handle F1 24, it should have no problem running F1 25.
Like last year’s game, an Intel Core i5-9600k or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X are recommended. Graphics card requirements are also identical, with the minimum specifications recommending a Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB), while the ideal specifications recommend an Nvidia RTX 2070 or a 3070 to play with ray tracing.
You’ll also need at least 8gb of RAM to play F1 25 smoothly, but 16gb is recommended for higher graphics settings.
The system requirements also confirm that F1 25 will be playable in VR on PC, with support for headsets including the Meta Quest 3, Oculus Rift S and HTC Vive Pro.
Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for F1 25.
