Upcoming sim racing title Rennsport, with its mix of contemporary race cars and ranked multiplayer modes, is set to release in Version 1.0 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
Presently, there is no firm release date other than ‘Fall’, before console publisher Nacon stated ‘September’. It will feature cross-platform racing and progression, the latter via the Rennsport app.
Now, however, its Japanese publisher 3goo has confirmed an 18th September 2025 release date for PS5.
While the region may receive a different date from other locations, it means that the ‘full release’ must be ready by this date at the latest.
The latest trailer ends with the date on-screen, and the description (translated) reads:
“The PlayStation version of “RENNSPORT” (digital/package) will be released on September 18, 2025!”
The news was first spotted by Traxion Discord user Cloud Liu.

The ‘digital/package’ element of the translation seems to confirm both download and physical disc versions. No mention of the Xbox version here, although it will come to Microsoft’s console in other markets.
When it does arrive, it is set to include AI-racing and a series of mid-race challenges for a single-player component. Rennsport’s main studio, Competition Company GmbH, has confirmed to Traxion that in testing, on the base PS5 and Xbox Series X, it has hit 4K and 60fps.
