RaceRoom Daytona Oval special event qualifying goes live

RaceRoom Racing Experience has just announced a special one-off race for the GTR3 Camaro at the Daytona Oval.

This arrives after a particularly American-focused spate of recent updates for the free-to-play sim, coming off the back of revisions to US content and of course, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, for this event you will have to purchase the Camaro at £1.66 and Daytona International Speedway at £4.16.

Qualifying is now open for the event, with the top 36 fastest drivers being invited to a broadcasted server race. The other qualifiers will be split into Gold, Silver, and Bronze level servers for the rest of the player base to join – as long as they meet the Reputation and Rating requirements of course.

The event itself will be three 30-minute races featuring action aplenty. We may see some bump-drafting along the 2.5 mile Daytona International Superspeedway, but hopefully there’s less chaos than the recent real-life Daytona 500…

The Broadcast Server race will be shown on RaceRoom Racing Experience’s YouTube and Twitch channels with English commentary on 26th February.

RaceRoom Racing Experience has had a number of content updates this year, including the TT Circuit Assen in January. And there’s more good news on the way, with the impending release of the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020, and the promise of further Ferrari vehicles in future.
