  • ELMS paint scheme can also be downloaded from RaceControl’s LiveryHub now

A new LMP2 paint scheme will soon be available to all Le Mans Ultimate players, thanks to a livery competition organised by the European Le Mans Series.

Created by SimRacing Designs, the eye-catching purple and orange paint job will be added to the Oreca 07 in a future update. Players who wish to use the livery now can download it immediately from RaceControl’s Livery Hub, at no cost.

The competition asked participants to design an official ELMS livery featuring ELMS and LMU logos, with the winner’s design appearing as the #26 car in-game, under the ‘ELMS 26 Team’ entry.

LMU recently enjoyed a record-setting weekend, enjoying a concurrent peak player count of 11,941 during its most recent 24 Hours of Le Mans Special Events, where it stress-tested its RUDP network protocol.

The new system previously created a series of online errors in LMU and was rolled back to its legacy TCP system until fixes could be implemented. Despite outlying problems, the test was largely successful, with the sim heading toward the third and final part of its US Track Pass DLC in December.
