RaceRoom’s latest ‘Beat the Pro’ competition sees driver Tim Heinemann pit his skills against the free-to-play sim’s community.

Competitors are tasked with driving Heinemann’s Porsche 911 (992) GT3 R around the fabled Nürburgring Nordschleife (24H layout) at the quickest possible speed, emulating his team’s appearance at the Nürburgring 24 Hours race back in May this year.

The top three quickest drivers on the leaderboard will win two tickets to this year’s SimRacingExpo and get a chance to meet Heinemann at the event on Saturday (19th October 2024). The three lucky winners will also receive a goody bag thanks to the German driver’s racecar sponsor Falken Tyres.

Heinemann was a handy sim racer before progressing to motorsport in 2019’s ADAC GT4 Germany series, picking up a couple of wins. He then won the DTM Trophy championship in both 2021 and 2022  before stepping up to DTM and GT World Challenge racing in 2023, alongside a smattering of Asian Le Mans Series appearances.

Alongside the Tim Heinemann competition, KW Studios has implemented a couple of updates to the Nordschleife, refreshing the Hatzenbach section as well as improving the bumps at the Karussell.

The hot lap competition is available to try for free in RaceRoom now, lasting until the 14th of October
