With pre-orders now live on PC, Project Motor Racing’s system requirements have been revealed via the game’s official Steam page. Mercifully, you won’t need a high-end PC to run it.
According to the Steam page, Project Motor Racing requires an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 or Intel Core i5-8400 processor, an Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card, and at least 8GB of RAM.
For better performance on higher graphics settings, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor, Nvidia GTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD equivalent graphics card and at least 16GB of RAM are recommended.

With Straight4 Studios switching from Unreal Engine 5 to Farming Simulator’s GIANTS engine, it looks like Project Motor Racing won’t be too demanding for lower-spec systems, despite its complex physics engine.
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will also launch alongside the PC release, but graphics modes and performance details are unknown at this time.

Project Motor Racing will be released this autumn on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a console and PC launch on day one. Unlike many racing games released in 2025, it will be a full game rather than an early access release with limited content.
A GTE Decades Pack is included as a pre-order bonus for the standard edition, while the Year 1 Bundle also includes a season pass with four DLC packs.
A spiritual successor to the Project CARS and GTR games, the motorsport simulator will feature 27 laser-scanned track layouts with dynamic weather and 24-hour day-to-night cycles, plus over 70 cars from multiple disciplines, from modern LMDh hypercars to historic 1970s sports cars.
