The car roster for the upcoming Project Motor Racing continues to expand, bulging with ‘00s nostalgia.
The next to be announced is the esoteric Morgan Aero 8 GT(N), not to be confused with the later GT3-spec green-liveried car or, in our case, the Panoz Esperante. The quintessentialy British sports car cut quite the incongruous sight around race tracks between 2002 and 2005.

It was never an outwardly successful motorsport steed, although its looks did raise some eyebrows, and it sounded thunderous thanks to the BMW V8 under the elongated bonnet. In the 2004 British GT season, one was used to secure three podium finishes, and in 2005, Oliver Bryant won the Croft round.
Entries to the 24 Hours of Le Mans also occurred in both 2002 and 2004, with little reward.

Presumably, this is part of the 2004-2005 GT Racing era confirmed for the sim racing game. It will join the likes of the Gillet Vertigo, Mosler MT900R and TVR T400R, among others, in the line-up so far.
Further details about Project Motor Racing are expected in mere days from now on 29th April 2004.
