Le Mans Ultimate has received a new update, bringing the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship up to V1.2.2.0.
Although today’s (20th January 2026) patch doesn’t feature any groundbreaking improvements, it does address several bugs, with players now able to view the series standings after online championship races.
The recently introduced engineer mode has also received some attention, with missing settings now appearing to aid your chosen race strategist. The game’s HUD has also been tweaked to prevent alignment, navigation and other errors, while instances of custom liveries loading in as carbon have now been reduced.

However, the biggest takeaway from LMU’s latest patch is the knowledge that its next update will feature brand new Hypercar tyres. Although the game’s LMGT3 cars have undergone significant changes to their tyre behaviour, the Hypercars have been largely neglected in comparison, but this will all change in ‘early-to-mid February.’
Following on from this, a new 24 Hours of Le Mans Test Event is set to be held across the 27th and 28th of February, including any amendments from the V1.2.3.0 update.
Alongside the new tyre model, the Hypercars will also receive BoP updates as the sim gears toward the release of its v1.3 update in March, where it’s expected that the third and final part of its ELMS DLC, containing the Duqueine D09 LMP3 and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, will be released.
