To celebrate 100 million copies of the Gran Turismo series being sold worldwide, Sony has announced the first-ever Gran Turismo Fan Fest event, set to be held on the 8th of November, 2025.
Held in the Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles, the event will not only showcase the super-competitive Gran Turismo World Series esports event, but will also give fans a chance to witness teasers of Gran Turismo 7’s Spec III Update first-hand.
The GT Fan Fest also sees the return of the Gran Turismo Awards, where tuners vie against each other to take the top prize and a chance for their car to feature in a future GT game.
The event will feature special GT-themed racing sleds, a kids’ zone and displays of past GT Award winners. Prospective GT Awards candidates will also be able to display their cars in the Orpheum Theatre’s car park.
Intriguingly, the day will also feature workshops and keynotes by leading automotive photographers, builders, and car collectors, explaining how their passion for cars feeds into the GT series, and vice versa.
There will also be more details on a collaboration between streetwear brand Union and GT ahead of the Manufacturers Cup racing at 4:00 pm PT and the Nations Cup event at 7:00 pm PT.
