NASCAR 21: Ignition - Patch 2 notes released

A detailed list of patch notes was released for NASCAR 21: Ignition on Wednesday afternoon. The game officially launches tomorrow on 28th October, but some gamers have been able to play it early on with many of the preordered, Day 1 edition games arriving yesterday.

The meat of the patch comes in the form of a slew of fixes that were found during the early access to the game over the last week or so. Many content creators and influencers were vocal about issues they were facing in playing the game. When the game launched for early access preorder gamers, the same issues befell them as well.

Some of the more pressing issues, such as Steering Assist not being able to be turned off, controller instability for those using low Steering Assist, and controller vibration have all been added in this second patch. Other, way more specific, issues have also been fixed as well, and overall it looks like a step already in the right direction for the new title.

Last week, the Motorsport Games team put out a post across their social media channels explaining that they were listening and working to make things right from things that were said by the content creators that received early copies. On Tuesday, the team released a Community Update on socials explaining what they intended to do.

The patch notes are live on the NASCAR 21: Ignition support website, but we’ve also copied them below. PlayStation players are in luck, as the patch is available now, weighing in at 1.848 GB. As of Thursday morning, a Steam PC patch is available at 2.81 GB. This patch is also expected to be implemented on Xbox systems, but no date has been announced just yet.
