MOZA Racing has revealed its new Lamborghini sim racing steering wheel today (16th October 2024).
The Chinese company has maintained searing momentum in recent times thanks to a glut of new sim racing hardware announcements, including a tie-in with Porsche.
It’s the turn of the Saint’Agata manufacturer this time, however, with MOZA’s socials team posting an obscured photo of the wheel in question. Despite this, if you increase the exposure of the image you can see it appears to be heavily based on the wheelrim found in the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 hypercar.
The Essenza is a track-focused hypercar with a 6.5-litre V12 producing nearly 820 horsepower. Its steering wheel was directly inspired by Formula 1 technology and comes with a large TFT LCD display front and centre.
At first glance, the wheel looks to feature plenty of buttons, encoders and paddles to appease even the most map-happy of sim racers, with MOZA intending to reveal more information later this week, possibly directly from the ADAC SimRacing Expo.
The 2024 ADAC SimRacing Expo takes place between 18th and 20th October 2024, and Traxion readers can receive 5% off the ticket price when booked in advance.
