The Miniverse is having a Miniversary! Mini Metro turns ten years old this year, and to celebrate, both titles from the team at Dinosaur Polo Club (which includes their latest hit—Mini Motorways) will be getting new 10th Anniversary content in the form of new maps and features starting 24th July.
New York City is slated to join Mini Motorways, crossing over from the roster of maps from Mini Metro. London and Mumbai will also join the fray with refreshed content as well. These three new maps, all crossovers from Mini Metro, will also receive the added benefits of a rail system with the addition of trains.
On the older title, Mini Metro, Tokyo, Warsaw and Lisbon are slated to be joining. Both titles will be receiving these updates for free on their respective systems. Many of these updates and additions have been led by the large mini communities, some of which were decided upon by a vote.
“Our players have shared so many special moments with us, from connecting families during hard times to easing anxiety after a long day and even a marriage proposal,” said Ben Emerson, Marketing Coordinator, Dinosaur Polo Club.
“It’s a special milestone to celebrate with our players and bring so many exciting crossover maps and features into both games for everyone to enjoy. I think players will really like the addition of trains into Mini Motorways too, it’s been a long time coming, and this has felt like the perfect time to introduce such a highly requested new feature to this game.”
Both the Mini Metro and Mini Motorways’ Miniversary update will be available on Monday, 24th July. Mini Motorways is available to play on Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch and Steam via PC. Mini Metro can be found on the Apple Arcade, App Store, Google Play Store, Nintendo Switch and Steam via PC and MacOS.
