A new update to Mini Motorways on Thursday (8th September 2022) brought a host of fixes to the “minimalist strategy traffic management simulation” title. Also, the update came with a new map.

Lisbon, the capital city located in Portugal, is now a city available to play among the roster of other cities in the game. The map resides along the Tagus River and players will be tasked with creating a stable infrastructure of roadways around and above.

The map itself has four parts lands all separated by the Tagus River water. Players will need to build bridges and other means of getting across from land to land strategically.

Casey Lucas-Quaid, the Community Manager at Dinosaur Polo Club, said in the release that there will be “one more big update coming for Mini Motorways this year, so stay tuned!”

While its not a racing game, per se, Mini Motorways does encompass the essence of cars on the road and the logistics of maintaining a properly flowing grid. The title is currently available on the Apple Arcade, PC via Steam and on the Nintendo Switch.
