Fresh off the back of Logitech revealing its first foray into the direct drive steering wheel market two days ago, the Swiss-based gaming peripheral manufacturer has increased the UK selling price of both its G PRO Racing Wheel and G PRO Racing Pedals.

The alarming price rise has seen the Logitech G Pro Racing Pedals increase by £50 to £349.99 for the standalone pedals, while the Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel has gone up from £849.99 to £999.99 – a whopping £150 rise in less than 48 hours (applying to UK customers only).

£849 was the Logitech G PRO Racing Wheel’s initial UK price…

We reviewed Logitech’s new direct drive wheel favourably, stating that: “Logitech’s first foray into direct drive has been wildly successful in our opinion. A well-thought-out, built, and supported product, with a bright future ahead of it. We can’t wait to see what new rims, accessories and hopeful variants will arrive in the coming years.”

The G PRO Racing Wheel increased to £999.99 yesterday, while the pedals remained at £299.99…

It’s fair to say we didn’t see a whopping £150 price rise on the horizon within a week of its public debut! Oddly, the price increases have occurred in at least two stages, with Logitech’s UK online store showing the G PRO Racing Pedals as £299.00 as late as yesterday (22nd September), before reverting to £349.99 today.

We have reached out to Logitech for comment on the price increases and will report back on our findings.
