Logitech G and Playseat announce PlaySeat Trophy - Logitech G Edition

In conjunction with the announcement of the Logitech G Pro Wheel and Pedals on Wednesday (21st September 2022), Playseat announced during the LogiPlay livestream that there will be Logitech G edition of their popular Playseat Trophy racing rig, and it will be available in December.

The Playseat Trophy, which released late in 2021, is adjustable in the areas of seat height, backrest, seat hardness, bucket seat feeling, pedal plate and steering wheelbase.

The seat itself uses ActiFit material to provide hours of comfortable play without the worry of sweating.

This particular seat will be emblazoned with the Logitech G logo and color scheme, more of a dark gray than the usual black that the seat currently comes in with the Logitech G blue highlighted around the frame and parts.

While not a portable racing rig solution, the Trophy is a lot more compact and can be stored more easily than many permanent rigs. The Logitech G branded seat will be a great accessory to those looking to upgrade to the new Pro wheel and pedals that are available now.

While this rig wasn’t specifically made for those new Logitech G Pro Wheel and Pedals, it was made with Direct Drive wheelbases in mind. The new wheel runs up to 11nm of force, which is on the mid to higher end of Direct Drive wheel bases.

The details surrounding the seat are sparse at the moment. The Playseat Trophy normally retails for $599 and one would have to assume that this one will be close to that.

The seat debuted on the LogiPlay live stream on Wednesday and during the announcement, it was mentioned that the seat will be available in December of this year. We’ll update the story when more information becomes available.
