Huge open-world Portugal mod for Assetto Corsa heading to Kickstarter

A Kickstarter for the project will be unveiled in the near future with a goal of $50,000 to help accelerate the POP’s development by bringing in additional artists, with the map geared towards popular ‘traffic server’ users. Indeed, Authentic Simulation plans to set up a heavy traffic server that will eventually be available to all backers.

The project will be completed regardless of the funding raised, but numerous perks will be included for early backers, including virtual property ownership on the map, personalised objects and real-world driving experiences in Portugal.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the progress of this huge AC mod when the Kickstarter campaign drops in the next few weeks.
