How to complete the 'H Marks the Spot' Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 5

The final week of the Explore the Horizon series in Forza Horizon 5 is here, and for one last time perhaps, a Treasure Hunt awaits in the form of a Pathfinder Challenge.

This week’s hunt is titled “”H’ Marks the Spot” and as it has been all month long, a three-part Pathfinder awaits those searching for treasure.

Forza Horizon 5's June Festival Playlist 'Explore The Horizon' features Pathfinder challenges

The car rewards within this week’s Spring Hot Season are the HUMMER EV Truck for 20 PTS and the Morris Traveller for 40 points.

Treasure Hunt: ‘H’ Marks the Spot

For one last time in the current Festival, players are tasked with checking out the Pathfinder Accolades within the Evolving World Accolades page for the first hint.

The first accolade for this week is called “Cascadas de Agua Azul Trail” and the description reads “Follow the road East out of Atlantes de Tula and you will stumble upon this trail, the river rapids will keep you on your toes here…”

On the road just to the North and West of the Cascadas de Agua Azul marker, you’ll find the first set of green balloons.

Same tips as the last three weeks, if you do it at night, the balloons will have red and green lights underneath them. Of course, if you pin the accolade, this will automatically provide a line to the start of the trail, so keep that in mind.

Once you’ve found the start of the trail, simply follow the red and green inflated balloons that cover this trail. The Pathfinder challenge will give you a generous 10 minutes to complete it.

Upon completing the Cascadas de Agua Azul Trail accolade, you’ll earn a Wheelspin and be given another accolade to complete named “Playa Azul West Trail”.

For the “Playa Azul West Trail” Accolade, the description reads “Look to the North West as you leave Playa Azul and you should find the start of this trail, never mind those trees in the way…”

This one reads exactly how it should. Go to Playa Azul and follow the main road north until you see another main road going west, just past the player house. Follow that a bit and you’ll find those green balloons. This path is fairly short, and when you find the final balloons, you’ll get the final challenge.

This is called the “Bahia de Plano Trail”, the final path of the festival. The description reads “Go flat out down the West side of the Dunas Blancas for this one, maybe dip your toes in the water…”

Simple enough, head to the top of the Dunas Blancas, right next to the Bahia de Plano marker on Mexico Route 14. You’ll find a wide open beach area near the La Cabana player home. Just find the green balloons and head south and you’ll get the final pathfinder under your belt.

The final balloon is tied directly to the final Treasure Chest. You’ll need a powerful enough vehicle to scale the hill, and once your there, try not to blow past it! Simply smash into the chest, and the 250,000 CR and 3 PTS are yours.

Collectibles Challenge: Donkey-Gone

This final festival week also contains a Collectibles Challenge. Players are asked to smash 10 Donkey cut-outs “grazing” at Tierra Prospera in the farmland.

You’ll find these unsuspecting, googly-eyed works of art around the entire area, like this one that was taking a drink.

Upon getting all 10 smashed, the reward is a ‘legendary’ clothing option in the Farid Rueda’s Bear Relaxed Fit Tee, which can be equipped in the Character Customization area.

Photo Challenge: #FLUTTERBY

This week’s photo challenge is #FLUTTERBY and it requires finding the camera equipment in the Northwest of Hotel Mirador Balderrama first and foremost.

On the map, it’s to the Southeast of the Horizon Rush Outpost, and the camera equipment can be found by looking for the tan balloon floating in the air.

You will find hundreds of butterflies floating around the area. Simply put, any old picture will do here.

Simply drive up to the equipment, open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.

Upon completion, the Farid Rueda’s Bear Tank Top clothing reward is yours.

Series 21 Hot Season: #FORZATHON Shop Highlights

This week’s rewards available within Series 21’s Hot season are off-roading two cars, a horn and a hoodie, alongside the always available Wheelspins.

Both cars are available to buy from the Autoshow, with a combined cost of a cheap 800,000 CR. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:
