How to complete the Forza Horizon 5 'Fast Track' Treasure Hunt

We’re only halfway through September as this Forza Horizon 5 series needs you to tightly pack the car and get the snacks ready, as it’s time for the Horizon Road Trip.

The cars you can unlock this week is the Bentley Turbo R 1991 for 20 points and the MG MG3 2015 for 40 points.

As for the series itself, you can unlock the Audi RS e-tron 2021 for 80 points, and the McLaren 765LT 2020 for 160 points.

Other unlockables this week, to be found in the playlist, include an ‘epic’ Aston Martin DB11 and a quartet of ‘rare’ vehicles – a 2014 BMW M4, a KTM X-Bow, a 2015 Chevy Camaro and a Caterham R500.

This season starts off with a Treasure Hunt named “Fast Track” and comes with the clue “Stop playing around and be first to get this toy to the end of the road”.

This requires you to jump into any Track Toy car and win a Road Race event.

Upon completion, an orange circle will appear nearby the Horizon Apex Outpost which is within the south-eastern corner of the map.

The Treasure Chest can be found outside of the southern entrance. Simply smash into the Chest and the 100FP and 3 Point rewards are yours!

This week’s photo challenge requires you to jump into the Caterham Superlight R500 2013 and head to the Horizon Apex Outpost.

This outpost can be found within the south-eatern corner of the map, precisely where the treasure hunt chest was found. This car is available from the Autoshow for 82,000CR.

While in the outpost, simply open the camera app by using up on the D-pad and tap A to snap the picture to gain the rewards.

Upon completion, the Star 27 Jacket reward is yours. This can be equipped by heading to the customise character screen.

This week’s rewards available within Series 12’s Wet season are two cars, a sundress and a car horn, alongside the always available Wheelspins.

Only the Ferrari is available to buy from the autoshow for 500,000CR. The available items from the Forzathon Shop this week are:

  • Koenigsegg CCGT 2008 – 600 FP
  • Farid Rueda Bear Sundress – 75 FP
  • Parade Car Horn – 75 FP
  • Ferrari F12TDF 2015 – 400 FP
  • 1x Super Wheelspin – 150 FP
  • 1x Horizon Wheelspin – 60 FP

Wrapping up the week with something that is totally capable of a road trip according to Top Gear, the KTM X-Bow R 2013, where Jeremy Clarkson chose this model for a trip to Donington Park and their former workplace.

But the tasks ahead are easier than experiencing the freeze through the open-aired cockpit, as you’re required to earn 12 stars from Speed Traps, earn 5 Air Skills and then eventually winning a Road Race.
