If you haven’t played Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged on PlayStation yet, you’re in luck because Milestone’s underrated toy racer is part of the PlayStation Plus Essential Games lineup for November, just over a year after its initial release.
From 5th November until 2nd December, PlayStation Plus Essentials subscribers can add Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 to their PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 libraries and download it for free.
Once added to your library, the arcade racer will be playable as long as you are subscribed to one of the three PlayStation Plus tiers (Essential, Extra and Premium).

Originally released in October 2023 and developed by Milestone, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 is an arcade racer where you race tiny diecast cars on over-the-top stunt tracks.
Building on the original (which incidentally also came to PlayStation Plus in October 2022), the sequel added new outdoor environments, new vehicles including bikes and ATVs, new game modes, a story campaign with comic book-style cut scenes, and new jump and dash mechanics.
Excluding DLC, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 features over 130 vehicles from fan-favourite Hot Wheels originals to monster trucks, each recreated with astonishing attention to detail. Two Season Pass volumes have bolstered the game with four new environments and 49 new cars.
