Horizon Chase and its enhanced PC and console port, Horizon Chase Turbo, will be delisted from digital stores on 1st June.
Developed by Brazilian studio Aquiris Game Studio, Horizon Chase is heavily inspired by retro 16-bit games like Top Gear, with vibrant visuals, global locations and fast-paced gameplay. It even features a soundtrack by the legendary Barry Leitch, who composed soundtracks for the original Top Gear titles.
While the original was mobile-only, an enhanced PC and console port followed in 2018 with the release of Horizon Chase Turbo. Sadly, both games will no longer be available for purchase or digital download as of 1st June. This presumably also applies to any DLC, including the sublime Senna Forever Pack.
Existing owners of the digital game will still be able to re-download it beyond this date, however.
Those who haven’t bought Horizon Chase Turbo before this date can still buy a physical copy on PS4 or Xbox Series X|S. However, new copies no longer appear to be in print, so the only option will be to track down a used copy. Expect prices for used copies to soar after the digital version is delisted.
Horizon Chase 2, meanwhile, will still be available to purchase and download. Unlike its predecessor, it hasn’t had a physical disc release yet, so there will be no way to purchase it if it gets delisted.
The delistings come after Epic Games, which acquired Aquiris Game Studio in 2023, announced today (24th March) that it’s laying off over 1,000 employees, citing a “downturn in Fortnite engagement.”

“Today we’re laying off over 1000 Epic employees. I’m sorry we’re here again,” Epic Games founder and CEO wrote in a blog post. “The downturn in Fortnite engagement that started in 2025 means we’re spending significantly more than we’re making, and we have to make major cuts to keep the company funded.”
“This layoff, together with over $500 million of identified cost savings in contracting, marketing, and closing some open roles puts us in a more stable place.”
Rocket League’s racing spin-off, Rocket Racing, will also be removed from Fortnite as part of the layoffs.
