Haas looks to the future with youthful F1 Esports Series Pro line-up

The Haas F1 Team has today (13th September 2022) announced its driver line-up for this year’s F1 Esports Series Pro championship.

After finishing bottom of the standings in 2021, the team has made significant changes to its driving pool, with two fresh faces joining its roster – Thomas Ronhaar and Piotr Stachulec.

Ronhaar arrives with an extensive F1 gaming pedigree, having won this year’s F1 Esports Series Pro Exhibition. Ronhaar also competed in Premier Sim Gaming League’s F1 22 championship, netting three pole positions and some impressive performances against the cream of F1 Esports’ driving crop.

Stachulec also performed well in the F1 Esports Series Pro Exhibition, placing fourth overall. In additon, the Pole finished second in this year’s F1 Esports Challenger Series, and at 16 years of age has plenty of potential.

Alongside Haas’ two new recruits is the returning Matthijs van Erven. The Dutchman ended up 18th in last year’s F1 Esports Series Pro and will be looking to build on his season-high sixth-placed finish in 2021’s final round.

Haas F1 Team Esports is looking to develop its young drivers this season (van Erven is the elder statesman of the team at 18 years old) with help from crack professional esports team R8G EsportsRomain Grosjean’s outfit continuing to support Haas’ esports efforts for the second season in a row.
