It’s that time of the week again when the GT Sport Daily Races are updated for the week ahead. Yes, the ‘daily’ races are weekly these days, but we’ll gloss over that.

This week, starting on 25th January 2021, the three main events where you can race against similarly skilled drivers are:

GT Sport Daily Races, 25th January 2021

Race A sees the feisty – read, will kill you on a damp Welsh B-road – rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive Renault Sport Clio V6 24V ‘00 take on the equally daunting Monza circuit for three laps of close racing against 11 other rivals. Sports Medium tyres are provided, but thankfully all wear is switched off in this sprint event. A Grid Start will make turn one mightily interesting!

Race B steps things up a little with a Gr.3 race. The car is of your choosing from the GT3-esque selection in your garage and the location is the classic Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit for five laps against 15 rivals. The narrow track width and lack of run-off areas will make for some tense action. As if often the case with Race B, there is no tyre wear or fuel consumption, and you are treated to the underrated Racing Medium compound.

Race C, which is always the longer race, is in the slower Gr.4 cars this time, again of your choosing within the class. WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is the venue this week, the challenging Corkscrew section always delivers many tricky moments. With 20 cars in total on track and a 13-lap race length, there’s also 2x fuel usage and 6x tyre wear on Racing Medium rubber to contend with.
