Now in the 13th series of Forza Horizon 5 festivals, this month, starting 11th October, fans are set to celebrate Horizon’s 10th Anniversary. Horizon 10 Year Anniversary is the series name and with it comes yet another Horizon Story to complete, further trips down memory lane in Horizon Origins.
Each week, each season is themed around the four previous Forza Horizon titles.
- Summer is Forza Horizon 1, and will bring back memories of Colorado, including a new Copper Canyon festival site during the week.
- Autumn will harken back to Forza Horizon 2, a nod to Europe which will have a Guanajuato outpost to celebrate.
- Winter goes down under, Australia was the map in Forza Horizon 3 and Dunas Blancas will be hosting a desert festival.
- Spring goes back to Forza Horizon 4, celebrating the British countryside, and Horizon Stadium will have the themed outpost that week.
FORZA HORIZON 5, HORIZON 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, SERIES REWARD
In the overall festival, a ‘rare’ Wuling Sunshine is the prize for obtaining 80 PTS. Sticking out the majority of the season will get players an ‘epic’ McLaren 650S Spider for earning 160 PTS.
Players can get in on the new Horizon Origins story right away, as it is part of the Monthly Events for each week, not only earning 12 PTS for completion but you’ll also get the Anniversary Edition of the 2013 Dodge Viper.
FORZA HORIZON 5, HORIZON 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, SUMMER
In the Summer, the Wet Season, 20 PTS earned will unlocked a ‘legendary’ Ferrari 599XX. Only 20 PTS! Completing the Horizon Origins story will not only get you the Viper, but more than halfway to this Ferrari.
There’s also a ‘rare’ classic American muscle car to get at 40 PTS, Plymouth Barracuda. A total of 68 PTS are up for grabs in the first season, between the weekly events, monthly events, Hot Wheels events and of course, the challenges.
Some of the rewards come in the form of Emotes, Clothing, Car Horns and… Songs?
Yeah, there’s a new radio station called Horizon Mixtape and the songs that will be played on it will be from previous titles as well. You’ll need to unlock those songs, however, and Language by Porter Robinson, from the first Forza Horizon game, can be unlocked here in the Summer.
Most rewards will remind people of the previous games. Even the Photo Challenge, #HORIZONVERSARY is bringing in some Horizon 1 nostalgia. By the way, there are cars to unlock as well!
The non-anniversary edition of the ‘rare’ 2013 Dodge Viper can be gotten by smashing Colorado-themed bonus boards in Copper Canyon. A ‘rare’ 2013 Ford Mustang and ‘common’ Volkswagen Corrado are also won in Summer.
FORZA HORIZON 5, HORIZON 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, AUTUMN
In the Storm Season, also known as Autumn, 20 PTS will unlock a ‘legendary’ Koenigsegg Agera while at 40 PTS, the ‘epic’ Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder can be yours. Two pretty super cars, if you know what I mean.
Forgot to mention this in Summer, but the #FORZATHON Weekly Challenges are all utilizing a car that you’ll get in a themed challenge later in the playlist. It was the Viper in Summer, but in Autumn, you’ll need the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4.
Moving into the weekly events, a Ferrari 458 is available to win in The Trial. An ‘epic’ Audi Quattro and another Song – Nocturne by Keeno from Forza Horizon 2 are unlockables here.
Tons of Super Wheelspins as well. Also, a ‘rare’ Peugeot 207 S can be won in the Hot Hatch Hustle.
Another Photo Challenge for #HORIZONVERSARY, this one will bring players to the Horizon 2 Festival site to snap a pic of an ‘epic’ Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4
It’s the same one you’ll need for the Weekly Challenger earlier and the same one you’ll earn by completing Ben Green Delivery right next to this.
FORZA HORIZON 5, HORIZON 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, WINTER
Into the Winter, the Dry Season has a pair of ‘legendary’ takes with enough points.
20 PTS will unlock the exclusive Eagle Speedster, and 40 PTS gets the Hot Wheels version of the Ford Mustang.
Spoiler alert! There’s a 2016 Lamborghini Centenario LP waiting for you later in this weekly playlist. You’ll want to get it first before taking on the #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge.
The Trial offers up a Nissan R390 as a reward. Remember, you’ll need to be in the Hall of Fame to do these Trials.
Looking further down the list, a ‘rare’ HSV Gen-F GTS, the ‘legendary Hot Wheels Bone Shaker and another Song Reward in Ingrid is a Hybrid by Dusky, a song from Forza Horizon 3 also available.
That ‘legendary’ 2016 Lamborghini Centenario LP finds it’s place in the festival as a weekly challenge, smashing Australia themed boards near Dunas Blancas.

FORZA HORIZON 5, HORIZON 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, SPRING
The final week of the Horizon 10 Year Anniversary festival is the Hot Spring Season. The ‘legendary’ Aston Martin One-77 is only 20 PTS and of course the ‘legendary’ Peel P50 is here, unlocked at 40 PTS.
Remember to pick up the 2018 McLaren Senna and come back to finish off the final #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge, a nod to Forza Horizon 4 and the United Kingdom.
Another McLaren, the P1, is unlocked in The Trial.
Other unlockables include a ‘rare’ Land Rover Velar an ‘epic’ 2019 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and one more Song unlock, A Moment Apart from ODESZA from the Forza Horizon 4 soundtrack.
We have our first and only Treasure Hunt in the Spring! Fame and Fortune, with a clue regarding the Airfield Speed Zone and a Jeep named Willy. I don’t even know where to start, we’ll ask Oasley when that comes around though for sure.
