After a rocky launch in 2023, Forza Motorsport has seen a raft of updates bring new tracks, cars and improvements, with January’s Update 16 adding the 2023 BMW M Hybrid V8 to the car roster.

Now, Turn 10 has outlined what Forza Motorsport players can expect in the first half of 2025 in terms of updates.

“We recently finalised our plan for the updates we will be making available to you in the first half of 2025,” Turn 10 wrote in a blog post. In May, a new content update will add a “fan favourite track.”

It’s not clear which track Turn 10 is referencing, but several circuits seen in Forza Motorsport 7 such as Prague are still missing. Fans have also been frequently requesting the fictional Fujimi Kaido circuit, last seen in Forza Motorsport 4, to return.

Before the new track, Turn 10 will add new cars and events “themed around Daily Racers, Velocity, and Porsche Motorsport Icons.” This implies that Forza Motorsport won’t get any new tracks until May.

Over the next three months, future updates will focus on “new content only,” with new features originally planned for early 2025 being “re-evaluated.”

“Our work on some of the features we previously announced for early 2025 may be re-evaluated as we complete our new plans. Until then over the next three months our updates will be new content only,” which Turn 10 says was a “very difficult decision.”

Back in August last year, Turn 10 said it intended to add a new “Creative Hub” like Forza Horizon 5’s by the end of last year, providing easier access to designs, vinyl groups, tunes, photos and replays.

“Select series and rewards from previous updates” were also set to be added as permanent additions to the Builders Cup. These changes have yet to be implemented, so they could be among the new features that Turn 10 is re-evaluating.
