Forza Horizon 5 is releasing for the PlayStation 5, marking the first time for the Microsoft game series on a Sony device, but it won’t come cheap.

In fact, despite this being first released for PC and Xbox in 2021, nearly four years ago, on PS5, it will be launched at the same original price point, including bonus editions.

That means, at least initially, there is no discount for PS5 latecomers when it first released on 25th April for the Premium Edition, or the 29th April for the Standard or Deluxe Editions.

Why Forza Horizon 5 skipping a physical PS5 release matters

Unlike several popular PS5 video games, and even Microsoft’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Forza Horizon 5 sadly won’t be available on a physical disc.

This is especially pertinent to the Horizon series, as each entry is delisted from sale after some time due to licensing restrictions. For example, Horizon 5 is the only instalment still on sale.
