Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 is about to be released for the PlayStation 5 console, with the Premium Edition landing on Friday, 25th April 2025, while the Standard and Deluxe Editions arrive four days later on Tuesday, 29th April 2025.
But, what time on the 25th will the Premium Edition be available to start playing? We’ve got the information for you below:
What time will Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition be released for PS5?
The Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 5 (FH5) for PS5 will be available from one minute past midnight in each region.
When the time hits 12:01 am in your country, then Forza Horizon 5 will unlock and become playable for those who pre-order. This is on the 25th April for the Premium Edition or 29th April for Standard and Deluxe versions.
For those who didn’t pre-order, but still want to get involved, the Premium Edition will simply become available to buy, install and play at the same time, 12:01 am on Friday, 25th April 2025.
No matter which region you play from, the launch time will be 12:01 am in your area.

Forza Horizon social media time graphic explained
Rather confusingly, the official Forza Horizon social media accounts shared an image explaining what time 12:01 am is for each main region converted into USA Pacific Time.
To explain, when the graphic says ‘UK, Ireland, Portugal 4:00 PM PT’, it’s trying to explain that the game will be released at 12:01 am in the UK, Ireland and Portugal, which happens to be at 4.01 pm PT. It does not mean that the game will be released at 4 pm UK time.
Why would you need to know what time it is in PT when the clock strikes 12:01 am in other regions is beyond us.
Our advice is, ignore the times on the graphic and be safe in the knowledge that wherever you are in the world, at 12:01 am on Friday, 25th April in your time zone is when the game releases.
