Another new limited-time livery design from the real-world is heading to the F1 23 video game, this time the Ferrari Formula 1 team’s Italian Grand Prix look.
The revised design features additional yellow (Giallo Modena) accents on the nose and engine cover, plus on the driver’s (’16 and #55) racing numbers. Both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be wearing matching helmets and race suits during the weekend.
The updated style celebrates the Scuderia’s victory at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans with its 499P Hypercar driven by James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
The new car, racing helmet and suit designs are all replicated within F1 23 as of today, 31st August 2023, temporarily replacing the design used in the season so far. Of note, the team used the game to create the launch images.
To drive it on the virtual track, unlike the recent Williams and Alfa Romeo styles which were related to the F1 World car, simply launch into a time trial or grand prix event. Selecting either of the two Ferrari drivers will see the racing wear and car design applied to the SF-23.
It is not yet known for how long the design will be featured in-game. Which design do you prefer, the limited-run Italian Grand Prix look with the added yellow or the regular season layout? Vote in the poll below.
