What is Formula Retro Racing – World Tour? 

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour is a simplistic, low-poly arcade racing game where the goal is to beat your opponents and cross the finish line in first position.

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour has four game modes. These are:

  • Arcade
  • Grand Prix
  • Eliminator
  • Free Practice

What are the car types so far in Formula Retro Racing – World Tour? 

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour has two types of vehicles so far. Regular circuit racing and drift.

Then, within each category, there are five car styles, from single-seater style formula cars, plus touring cars, pick-ups and classics.

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour was created by solo developer Andrew Jeffreys, through his Repixel8 studio and CGA Studio. Jeffreys also developed Formula Retro Racing – World Tour’s predecessor, Formula Retro Racing, plus futuristic anti-gravity racer Gravity Chase

Does Formula Retro Racing – World Tour have multiplayer? 

Yes. Formula Retro Racing – World Tour has local split-screen multiplayer for up to four players. 

Does Formula Retro Racing – World Tour have online multiplayer? 

No. Formula Retro Racing – World Tour does not have online multiplayer at this stage.

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour is set to appear on PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.

Formula Retro Racing – World Tour will be released on 31st March 2023 for PC, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It will be available for PlayStation on 21st April 2023.
